The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to join the team in Plano, TX; Seattle, WA; Miami, FL; or Hazelwood, MO.
The Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) Product Systems team is responsible for the delivery and management of critical systems that support Boeing's entire Product Lifecycle.
Position Responsibilities:
Conducts complex and interactive finance integrated solutioning workshops
Analyzes and designs the "To-Be" design for the Enterprise Financial Structure, leading finance process transformation supported by leading Systems Applications and Processing (SAP) processes and capabilities
Designs, builds, and tests finance solutions
Defines data integration in multiple SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and Non-SAP systems with all related downstream and upstream processes
Develops functional and technical specifications
Executes necessary configuration of SAP Financial Accounting (FI), and Managerial Accounting (CO)
Manages the stakeholders and works on building client relationships
Works together with both onshore and offshore teams
Designs and configures finance solutions for identified gaps in functionality and business process
Works with internal business customers and process owners to define business requirements and design high level solution that aligns with both IT and business roadmaps
Works with Information Technology (IT) team members to build detailed solution that aligns with both business requirements and architectural principles
Ensures the solution built is scalable to high volume, flexible for future enhancements, secured internally and externally, and upgradable to future releases
Solves complex problems on SAP & non-SAP Finance space in partnership with the other IT teams, troubleshoot the critical issues and fix as needed
Follows SAFe principles and guidelines
Designs and build high level solution supported by system POC (Proof of Concepts)
Understands and manages non-SAP systems in terms of their architecture (3-tier / Cloud etc.) and also the Finance details within each system
Understands Finance regulations and how they affect the Enterprise
Drives end to-end technical design, and in collaboration with delivery team's realization and deployment activities across the enterprise
Collaborates with cross functional teams comprising of business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Analysts, Developers and partners on current processes and proposing Finance solutions
Provides periodic updates to the respective project delivery teams - related to progress of design blockers, KDD's (Key Design Decisions) and other architecture issues
Adopts, establishes standards, best practices and processes as needed towards design high quality functional and technical solutions
Provides ROM's (Rough Order of Magnitude) for solutions based on the recommended design and architecture - seek alignment across stakeholders
Drives governance of the functional and technical design of Solution Delivery functions.
Represents solution delivery architecture as a strong partner with cross functional teams across the ERP solution delivery, extended and enterprise teams including, but not limited to; development, testing, data management, infrastructure, security, operations and release management functions
Measures, tracks, and corrects outcomes based on metrics including SLA's (Service Level Agreements), KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) and user-experience, and customer satisfaction
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with Systems Applications and Processing (SAP), S/4 HANA
3+ years of experience working as an SAP Functional Analyst in Finance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience with migrating applications to Cloud platform
1+ years of experience in cloud-based solutions and applications
Experience with one or more of these areas: Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Acquire to Retire (A2R), Revenue Recognition, Material Costing, Close Consolidation and Reporting functions
Experience with General Ledger (G/L), Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), manufacturing, and Inter-company processes
Experience in the aerospace industry
Experience with SAP Activate methodology
Certified Scrum Master/SAFe Certification or equivalent a plus
Experience in cloud-based solutions and cloud platforms
Typical Education & Experience:
Typically, 9 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $110,500 - $159,850
