Stanley Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Fuel Systems Engineer in ourFederal Market to work in any of our US office locations. In this position,you will coordinate and perform studies, assessments, planning,programming, and design of Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricant (POL) fuelinfrastructure for military and civilian agency clients.The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of design criteriaand standards for aviation and ground fuel delivery systems and facilities.Key fuel systems will include fuel receipt, storage tanks, automatic tankgauging, secondary containment, filtration, additive injection,metering, hydrant distribution, truck fill stands, vehicle dispensing,and associated pumps, piping, and control systems. Key facilities willinclude (POL) administration and maintenance, fuels laboratories,pumphouses, fueling stations, refueling vehicle maintenance, andassociated pavements, security, and lighting features.The person in this role will have technical design responsibilities and mustcoordinate work with the design team and review and manage their work toproduce high quality project deliverables. The individual is expected toperform design duties with minimal supervision and have ability to effectivelycommunicate within a team environment.Specific Duties:Inventory, condition assessment, and deficiency identification of POL assetsCapacity analysisFuel system master planningCapital investment planning and project programmingPreparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for constructionConstruction services including submittal review and construction inspectionRequired Education, Credentials, and Experience: The following itemsare required:Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University8-15 years of relevant experienceProfessional Engineering registrationExperience in design of military aviation and ground fuel systemsExperience in pipe flow and stress modelingExperience with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria including UFC 3-460-01 and3-460-03Experience with DoD Unified Facilities Guide SpecificationsExperience with AutoDesk CADD, Revit BIM, and/or Bentley BIMAdditional Education, Credentials, and Experience: The following itemsare desirable, but not required:Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited College orUniversityAPI 570 Piping Inspector CertificationAPI 653 Above Ground Storage Tank Inspector CertificationSTI Tank Inspector CertificationNACE Cathodic Protection CertificationAWS Certified Welding InspectorExperience in design of natural gas, liquid propane systemsSalary Range: Base Compensation: $94,000-$125,000
