Boeing is seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs leader, specializing in Air Carrier flight operations. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Global Operations Support.
This exciting position will see the right candidate lead the initial design and implementation of our regional customer support capability. we are searching for a Regulatory Affairs person with a deep and broad understanding of Air Carrier regulatory ecosystems in Indonesia/SE Asia region.
Position Responsibilities:
Assess and understand local aviation regulations to ensure Boeing provides value-added support to our customers.
Assist local airlines with Operational Entry-Into-Service questions, and where appropriate, assist our customers with their regulator.
Liaise between airline, local regulators, and other Boeing teams.
Develop and foster relationships with local regulatory agencies and customer airlines.
Provide operational insight on local regulatory and safety policies to actively promote safety and operational compliance.
Serve as a focal point for communication between regulatory agencies and Boeing leadership.
Participate in Boeing's global regulatory issues management process.
Lead and champion initiatives with the regulators and industry stakeholders on operational issues.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of managerial experience within an Air Carrier or DGCA overseeing Flight Standards/Airworthiness program design and/or approval.
Senior level of experience with airline certification/validation procedures and processes.
The ability and willingness to travel to domestic or international sites approximately 40% of the time, sometimes at short notice
Proficient in both verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study.
Senior level Flight Operations management experience with an Air Carrier or Regulator, for example, Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, Training manager, or Principal Operations Inspector.
Experience with complex system gap analysis and developing solutions to correct identified operational discrepancies.
Experience with Safety Management System integration and organizational design.
Experience working collaboratively with external companies and/or organizations in certification and/or safety matters.
Experience with Flight Operations Program design, certification, and implementation, for example, ETOPS, Low Visibility, RNP-AR, ANSP, PBN, PBCS, etc.
Training, as needed, for this role will be provided at a Regional Onboarding event and in Singapore or Seattle.

This requisition is for a locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
