This role will provide pricing support for the OptumInsight Provider technology and services portfolio. Success in this role will be dependent on an ability to successfully navigate and influence change across a matrixed environment, quickly adapt to changing priorities, and an ability to clearly articulate business issues with recommended solutions --- in the context of a fast paced and high-growth environment that has a long-term commitment to making health care better for everyone.

Primary Responsibilities:
Pricing support for OptumInsight Provider technology and services product suite
Participation in deal development and negotiations to achieve solutions that meet both internal and external requirements
Development of ROI analysis to support the OptumInsight value proposition
Effectively partnering and negotiating with cross-functional teams that include Sales, Finance, Product, Operations, Legal and other internal customers
Preparing financial analysis and presenting deal economics, risks, and recommendations to senior management
Assembling disparate operational and financial data for analysis and to drive fact based decision-making
Building, maintaining, and enhancing pricing and cost models
Developing accurate cost models to support pricing decisions by partnering with Finance and business owners
Identifying and driving process improvements that simplify work, reduce internal cost, and improve the customer experience
Reviewing customer contracts to ensure accuracy and risk minimization
Providing pricing and broader financial support for large partnership opportunities and other strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
6+ years of solid analytic experience in pricing, costing and/or data analytics
Proven intermediate Proficiency in MS Excel skills, including significant financial modeling experience
Experience working collaboratively and influencing others within a matrix organization
Demonstrated excellent written communication skills and the ability to verbally communicate ideas clearly & confidently
Ability to work independently with little supervision, prioritize work and be a self-starter
Reside in Eastern or Central time zone
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing or Business
MBA or CPA
Proficiency using PowerPoint to create presentations
Healthcare, Technology, and/or Revenue Cycle Management experience
Experience working and interacting with executive leadership
Experience using SalesForce

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
