Senior Financial Analyst, Global Brand (Aveda and Bumble & Bumble)
This position is within the Global Brand team supporting both Aveda and Bumble & Bumble businesses. The role will assist in Monthly P&L Management, Annual Budgeting, Strategic Long Range Planning, and Strategic Innovation Planning for the two brands. This role will support various members of the Global Brand Finance and Strategy team, corporate reporting group, and other cross functional teams. Key areas of responsibilities include: This position can be located in Blaine, MN or New York City, NY.
• Preparation of monthly reporting deliverables related to both actualized performance and forward-looking estimates. Summarizing key comments/insights/variances related to:
o Retail Sales, Net Sales, and full P&L performance at the affiliate and regional level
o Monthly Performance Review (MPR) presentation materials to senior management, including the validation and improvement of the corporate Tableau dashboard data
o Supply Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) meetings
• Assist in the preparation, review and management of key annual senior management meetings, which include the:
o Strategic Long Range Plan Presentation
o Global Brand Annual Budget Presentation
o Strategic Innovation Planning meeting
• Other key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o YTD/YTG/Full-year Capital investment updates for both Regional and Global Tooling expenditures
o Global Pricing implementation process, which requires partnership with Global Pricing Center of Excellence (COE) to analyze and recommend the strategic, financial, and competitive impacts
o Assist with the financial analysis needed to support Global Brand Supply Chain (GBSC) and Marketing in annual sku rationalization process
o Preparation of investor relations materials
Develop and maintain reporting that enables timely and comprehensive region, channel, and category analytics
• Serve as the resident expert (i.e. - resident super user) of all relevant corporate databases needed to routinely gather insights & data that support best-in-class analytics, including OneStream, Retail 360, QlikView, PriceLab, Magic Quadrant, etc.
• Pro-actively look for opportunities to improve and automate key financial reports by leveraging advanced analytical tools and corporate dashboards
• Perform ad-hoc/special projects such as high traffic moment, A&P investment resource allocation, Promo COGS analysis, and gross margin management
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Accounting or Finance
Experience in a fast-moving consumer products industry preferred
Demonstrate learning agility and swiftly mobilize to adapt to changing needs and demands
Strong analytical skills required to perform value added FP&A functions
Ability to work under pressure of tight deadline and to multitask
Ability to collaborate and drive cross-functional consensus and strong communication and presentation skills necessary Proficient in Excel and financial reporting systems; OneStream knowledge a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
Proactive individual looking to continuously take on additional responsibility and improve processes and procedures Ability to work independently and in groups
U.S. Corporate/Office Exempt Roles (Non-Equity Eligible)
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $71,000 to $106,000. Exact salary depends on several
factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on
geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a
highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance
and company results.
