The Munich based Accounting team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst Accounting (f/m/d) to join our accounting organization and become a major contributor to our Accounting team. Successful candidates in this position will have demonstrable professional experience. They drive the future with passion and commitment. The role will enable you to work independently as well as within different teams on both a local and international level.
Key job responsibilities
Preparation of high-quality financial statements across a range of accounting frameworks
Collaborating with global Accounting teams to identify opportunities for enhanced standardization
Worldwide business partnering within the Amazon group, liaising with Tax and Legal departments
Develop, improve and manage scalable and automated processes
Management of external financial statement audits, tax audits and internal audits
Managing relationship with external service providers

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
Fluent English and German communication skills (written and spoken)
Experienced accountant with an emphasis on financial reporting and audit
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
Knowledge of SOX methodology and associated standards (sections 302, 404, AS5, PCAOB, etc.)
