We are now recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the Finance Director – France Division AA Finance
Location: Paris (La Defense)
Who are you?
· You have an advanced degree in Finance or Accounting and relevant expertise with 5/ 7+ years in a similar organization (Financial Shared Service Center, regional/international finance, COEs)

Knowledge and Skills
· Analytical and financial modeling skills, comfort with Finance and Accounting principles and strong financial statement analysis ability.
· Strong spreadsheet, power point, and financial systems experience. Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP)
· Ability to comment on variance drivers vs. forecast targets. Question and challenge business constructively on business assumptions, market insights, promotional activities…
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and in English.
· Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and level of business.
Abilities
· Ability to influence cross-functionally and drive tasks to consensus / closure.
· Able to adapt to dynamic environment and to work under tight timelines.
· Independent handling of a variety of tasks with different levels of complexity by developing effective plans and organizing work efficiently.
· Hands on, strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Fast learner.
· Ability to work independently and adjust priorities as needed.
What can we accomplish together?
The senior financial analyst is a key role within the affiliate finance with primary objective to provide financial insight as well as planning and analysis support to the decision-making process of France AA business. The job holder will provide management and affiliate stakeholders with clear insights into drivers of business and financial performance/risk, as well as informing/recommending prioritization decisions.
The Senior Financial Analyst will support core FP&A function as (but not limited to) forecasting and planning cycles (LBE,Plan,LRP), analysis of variances between actual and forecast, month-end reporting, financial controls and ad-hoc analysis to support the organization.
Key scope and responsibilities include:
· Leads and develops monthly, quarterly, and annual Plan/LBE and LRP as required, including P&L, SG&A, headcount.
· Ensures meaningful management reporting while analyzing and understanding results to communicate risks to Management
· Leads cross functional peers and marketing leaders to effectively gather, review and prepare accurate strategic spend and timing
· Ability to comment on variance drivers vs. forecast targets. Question and challenge business constructively on business assumptions, market insights, promotional activities…
· Support Brand’s strategic decisions and ensure forecasts are aligned to Commercial strategy.
· Support weekly forecasting process and prepare periodic KPI reporting for stakeholders (monthly P&L analysis, review of budget and spendings)
· Meet month-end and year-end submission and reporting deadlines and ensure high-quality comments of financial figures, with analysis on the variance between actual and plan/forecast/prior year.
· Support ad hoc management & stakeholder requests for financial information.
· Support Finance director on internal Business Reviews
· Collaborate with Regional Finance team, Accounting Shared Service, CoE’s, to ensure complete, accurate and timely results.
· Collaborate with regional peers and act proactively to improve process efficiency and FP&A tools.
· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
· Drive process and system improvements to ensure continued evolution of efficiencies
