Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Opportunity
To provide fundamental facilities maintenance and preventative maintenance inspection as required to assure the functional reliability of patron facilities and optimum performance of one, if not all building systems and equipment in the Hospitality & Real Estate Group properties. Must demonstrate and be proficient at numerous technical skills such as but not limited to; carpentry, mechanicals, flooring, painting, electrical, pools, HVAC, drywall, etc. Must exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers.
Specific Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and service for specified equipment, machinery, and systems throughout the Group facilities.
Perform, or request from supervisor, assistance in providing, all emergency and routine maintenance work scheduled from preventative maintenance inspection results, weekly job lists, or upon request of a Hospitality business manager.
Monitor assigned external areas of the Group facilities for safe and functional use by patrons.
Participate in training programs to develop advanced skills, knowledge, and background as it pertains to the Group facilities.
Educate and train less experienced technicians with preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, and work requests in an effort to enhance their background and knowledge of Group facilities, while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality.
Maintain accurate preventative maintenance inspection reports, work schedules, backlog, and completed work order reports.
Recommend ordering of maintenance spare parts and materials for repairs and/or inventory.
Maintain storage areas in an orderly manner in compliance with all building fire and safety codes.
Communicate regularly via electronically and verbally to pass along information to the next shift and/or maintenance department for follow-up and/or awareness.
Assist business leaders with capital & expense budgets, provide recommendations when necessary.
Provide detailed information & justification to initiator for help in writing ACT’s for capital projects and/or facility maintenance.
Standard hours are Midnight - 8:30am. Every 3rd weekend is required.
Skills/Requirements
Minimum of a High School Diploma. Associate degree in a skilled trade preferred.
5+ years of experience in a skilled trade position.
Must be highly motivated tradesmen capable of working independently with little supervision.
The hourly range for this position is $23.90 - $29.90. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
