Work you'll do
Provide support to the Senior Executive Management Office with a focus on succession management. Expected tasks include: senior executive interviews; training and development assessment; development of career paths that identify knowledge, skills, abilities and assignments for career progression; future workforce planning; and development and implementation of a skills inventory.
Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:
Facilitation of senior executive interviews for high priority roles to determine key qualities and traits needed for success as a senior executive; findings will inform overall succession management effortsEngagement with stakeholders to assess current training and development opportunities for current employees and development of recommendations for future career development effortsIdentification of current and future workforce talent requirementsDevelopment of a senior executive competency and skills inventoryReviewing current succession management processes to identify and implement process improvements and automation to streamline and simplify activitiesDeveloping information briefs, white papers, and/or decision briefs to support key succession management initiativesConducting research, data gathering, analysis, and reporting in support of succession management activitiesUpdating and maintaining all standard operating proceduresRegular and sustained high-level client interaction, encompassing both formal presentations and informal, routine communicationSupporting ongoing business needs due to changes in an organization, as well as organizational transformation programs impacting workforce

Qualifications
Required:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required 5+ years of Human Capital experience Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent Ability to work on site in Washington DC
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Project management, planning, implementation, performance metrics and reporting Proficient in Microsoft Office products Knowledge of government organizations and/or government human resource
