Your Job
You will be the Senior Technical Engineering Leader for the Family Care Packaging & Converting Asset, responsible for the development and execution of all engineering projects within your sector, with the exception of smaller plant-led activities. This responsibility spans from project identification and definition and continues through to a successful startup.
The sector engineering leader also provides strong guidance and support to asset improvement and cost transformation projects within the region. Whilst also being accountable to monitor industry developments and look for innovative technologies which can provide a competitive advantage to Kimberly-Clark in terms of operational performance, cost management and innovation capabilities.

About You
Work with supply chain to identify and dimension capacity expansion needs and the appropriate engineering solutionDevelop engineering solutions for product upgrades to meet R&E needs and plansInput capital spending amounts and timing for your sector to the engineering director for inclusion in the overall EMEA capital planProvide engineering support and capital estimations to EMEA cross-functional teamsProvide sector R&E team with technical solutions to support product innovationWork closely with the regional purchasing team to develop and improve the vendor networkServe as project/program manager for key regional projects that impact multiple countriesConsult closely with and support plant engineering managers on small-scale plant-led initiativesIdentify and troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide the necessary solutions to eliminate root causesDevelop further knowledge and skills in the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, LEAN principles, and project management
What you'll bring...
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field is requiredPreferably over 10 years of sector experienceClear knowledge of the business' strategic orientation and the sector's role in itAn in-depth knowledge of the equipment and processes that comprise the sector is requiredProject management skills, multiple language skills, and past successes in foreign cultures is preferred
