What we're looking for
We are expanding our Core Infrastructure organization to help scale and secure our new global SaaS offerings. We are looking for an engineering manager to help lead, design, coach, and support an efficient, and productive development team. This team will develop and administer our hosted cloud environments. Specifically, this team will manage our global Kubernetes-based infrastructure and its regional connectivity.
We want someone who's excited to jump in and find solutions to organizational impediments, create and own processes that enhance team health and streamline hiring processes. Someone who understands the technical challenges that the team is facing and helps drive improvements.

You strive for collecting robust observability metrics, and monitoring information from our services, ensuring that if an issue arises, the team is alerted before our customers notice.Keeping calm and carrying on. You coach teams on appropriately handling a product outage, skills in identifying performance bottlenecks, spotting anomalous system behavior, and determining the root cause of incidents.Deliver software and infrastructure that will help drive improvements towards the availability, performance, efficiency, scalability and security of Splunk's services. Technologies include AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker and Vault.
Requirements:
5+ years of technical contributor experience, demonstrated ability in managing technical personnel, and experience in working within SaaS environments.A background Cloud Computing (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes - or a similar container orchestration technology.An understanding of IP addresses, networking and internet connectivity.We value diversity at our company. Base Pay: PLN 304,000.00 - 418,000.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
