Overview
We are looking for an experienced developer to work in the Cross Product Group within Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) Technology.Our Engineer is for a passionate and hands-on technologist with good experience of development, a track record for successful business delivery in a dynamic environment, and good exposure to technology across the broader spectrum. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing Collateral application code,andimplementing technical solutions in response to business problems. The Collateral domain covers a variety of existing systems and green-field projects.

What You'll Do
Works and get involved in solution design,data models, re-architecture and technology delivery of simplification projects and resolve issues in Oracle Database performance / application and SL3 support related issues
Research, construct, develop, and test complex Structured Query Language (SQL) and PL/SQL scripts for new design and develop. and perform analysis, development, testing and debugging/defect fixing for the assigned stories/bug fixes
Utilize structured coding methodology and "code once use many times" methodology (so that the developed code is reusable), develop the required functionalities using the appropriate technologies, and develop a good understanding of the activities required to execute the development/bug fix activity
Actively participate and contribute to Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand up's, Sprint Planning, Sprint review, Sprint retrospective meetings on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools like JIRA, JAMA, Team city, Control-M, Jenkin etc
Coordinate cross-functional projects as assigned and interact with all areas of the organization (to achieve timely results), perform code reviews/walk-throughs and unit testing of code developed by contract or new developers, and collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments
Good knowledge of code promotions and test that existing features are intact, and experience in code migration to higher environments. Work with team members to develop program units that integrate seamlessly into the overall system and be highly efficient in demonstrating Company's Core Competencies and values held within
Skills You'll Need
Experience as software developer with App development in Oracle with Spring boot, Sparc or Postgres experience
Strong background in Data Architecture, Solution design, code development, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL skills and Data warehouse and modelling Concept
Experience in Data Conversion, Migration, Archiving, upgrade related projects, Java related technologies and frameworks, and Cloud background would be preferable
Familiarity with Big Data and Java ecosystem
Experience with performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, using the Git version control system, Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar, and working with high availability and high-performance systems

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.
The salary range for this position in Cary is $96,000 to $137,600. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
