The nitro firmware team, which is uniquely position in the very heart of AWS technology engine, is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer, to join us in building the next generation of networking products. You’ll have the opportunity to work on the technologies that power the world’s largest cloud provider, in a dynamic, open, fast-paced environment.
In this role you will be leading tasks involving peers from multiple disciplines, while enjoying every step of the journey.
Basic qualifications
5+ years of experience with embedded SW development
Fluent in C
Experience with HW/SW interfaces at both the board and chip level
Electrical/Computer Engineering graduate
Preferred qualifications
Deep understanding of computer architecture
Experience with SoC development life cycle
Experience working in Linux environments
Personal characteristics: Team player, highly motivated and committed, passionate about SW development, a fast learner, and willing to work in a dynamic environment

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
Experience in professional, non-internship software development
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
Experience in development in the last 3 years
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
