The Senior Director - Digital Values is a critical thought-leadership role that will help shape Walmart's ethical use of data and responsible use of technology as we work at transforming ourselves and the retail experience for our Customers and Associates. As a primary steward of our brand, you'll lead a team that's advising Walmart in some of our most forward-looking initiatives, while working alongside an engaged and forward-thinking team. Reporting to the Vice President - Digital Governance, you'll lead your team and our business partners in helping Walmart keep our spot as the most trusted retailer in a fast-paced, complex, and exciting environment where change is constant and we're building governance for the future of the company.
What you'll do...
Lead the development and deployment of emerging technology frameworks - Guide Walmart's digital transformation by understanding our customers, our business, and embedding Walmart's digital values into our technology, preserving, and growing the trust our Customers and Associates have in us, and doing so with speed and simplicity Leverage your skills to become a trusted business partner in a changing landscape - Our business needs clear governance to guide it into a changing business and regulatory space . From artificial intelligence and machine learning to the changes we'll experience in the Advertising and Marketing Technologies space, your team will create the guidance to help ensure Walmart's digital transformation is done right Proactively spot risk and creatively mitigate it - Partner with Walmart's Global Governance teams, and your business partners, to help them understand new and emerging risks - regulatory, business, brand, and reputation. Then partner with them to create solution-based strategies to mitigate those risks while preserving forward momentum for our partners Grow customer trust - Embrace Walmart's Digital Trust Commitments, help develop the narrative for customers, associates, and the public about how Walmart will continue to innovate with the Customer at the center of our designs, and ensuring that our actions match our words as we maintain our position as the most trusted retailer Build strategic relationships: Maximize relationships with new and existing business partners, understanding and evaluating their plans and strategies and embedding in their business to help design digital values into solutions. Build internal partnerships and support your business partner's goals Articulate enterprise and team success - Lead the Digital Values team in developing and growing business and customer facing KPIs, with demonstrated successes and risk mitigation strategies. Help tell Walmart's story about our digital values in measurable, accountable ways Operate with excellence - Set an example in leading your team, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 5 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 7 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 4 years' supervisory experience. 5 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
