Purpose of the Role
The Senior Director, Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability is responsible for leading, developing and measuring the impact, of an integrated and scalable communications approach that amplifies The Coca-Cola Company and the division of one of our top global customer's strategy and results, advancing awareness with key audiences internally and externally. This role will be responsible for building relationships and partnering with key stakeholders to track, measure and scale best-in-class corporate reputation and communications initiatives, increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the company's content and communications. This position reports to the Global Division President and will work across the division, functions, and operating units to create and execute plans, initiatives, and messaging to strengthen our partnerships and positioning to bring our strategies to life. The position will need to work very closely with the Operating Units PACS leads to ensure consistency of message and approach with the customer in all markets around the world. The role will be a key member of Division Leadership Team, and an extended member of the Global PACS Community.
Key Accountabilities
Leads development and implementation of global communications strategies across one of the company's top-priority customer teams through networked coordination with key cross-functional, OU and Division stakeholders.Develop strategies that dynamically engage division employees, inform, and inspire them on the attributes that differentiate and distinguish this division. Help them understand and embrace the climate of dynamic change within the company and this key customer division.Ensure that all communications and messaging are consistent with the company's brand, image, and the corporate guidelines / messaging. Additionally, provide the necessary directions for managing the company's image on social media.Anticipate and proactively identify potential issues and develop action plans, jointly with the business, to address these. Manage crises and issues relating to the company and its businesses / brands including, but not limited to product quality or safety, regulatory issues, and social development, etc.Through a deep understanding of the external environment within which the business operates, advise senior management on the context for business decision making and the impacts of potential decisions.Provide leadership and mentorship to Public Policy, Government Relations, and Community/Social Impact teams, ensuring high functional standards.Provide oversight and strategic guidance of key customer division's commitment to achieving the company's sustainability initiatives from inception through to in-market execution. Ensure that the company's sustainability initiatives receive appropriate visibility in government, public forums, and the media, including social media.

Qualifications & Experience
Master's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration or related field.Professional experience with multinational companies with high industry and brand visibility.12+ years of overall work experience of which the last 5+ years would have been in a leadership position in the Public Affairs / Corporate Communications / Corporate Affairs functions.Multi-country/multi-geography knowledgeExternal stakeholder engagementLed a scaled transformation initiative.Proven people and functional leadership track recordWell-respected and networked both within and outside The CompanyLearning mindset is key.Should be technology savvy and able to work effectively in a digital first world.Impacted business growth in large customers.
