  ABOUT THIS ROLE

  Audible is seeking a seasoned product management leader to reimagine our capabilities for a strategic portion of our creator base and define and launch new offerings for this segment, while scaling and growing this portion of the business. This leader will partner with a cross-functional team across technology, content, marketing, and operations to define strategy, set business outcomes, and operate their products. Creator success has driven Audible’s success since its founding, and our continuing mission is to empower creators with the tools to drive their own success across Audible and Amazon surfaces.

You are an exceptional verbal and written communicator with a knack for making complex topics simple, while evangelizing and inspiring people at all levels of the organization based on a shared vision.

  As a Senior Director, Product Management, Creator Products, you will...

  Lead and set the strategic vision for one or more of our key creator products

  Refine/develop a 3-year roadmap, keeping pace with industry evolution while directing day-to-day execution towards your strategic vision

  Serve as a voice to (and for) the creator community both internally and externally and deliver an offering that the community loves

  Monitor community feedback and sentiment and collaborate with our community management team to respond

  Expand products/capabilities globally with a focus on the creation of culturally relevant local content

  Innovate and establish opportunities to expand offerings, expanding the toolset of services that enable creators to maximize their reach and earnings

  Collaborate closely with our content team on content policies, publishing operations, and processes to ensure a great creator and listener experience

  Oversee the daily business activity of your product(s), while improving the overall business function, product performance, and while achieving business goals

  Develop mechanisms to ensure we are executing against our roadmap and business objectives; adapt plans if necessary

  Basic Qualifications

  Bachelors degree

  10+ years work experience as a GM or Product Manager

  5+ years leading a team

  Experience building revenue-generating products that engage millions of users

  Preferred Qualifications

  MBA or other relevant advanced degree

  High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  Team player with the ability to work effectively in high-energy, rapidly changing environment

  The ability to build and lead complex teams and products from inception to launch while coordinating and leading a large number of moving pieces across multiple functions

  Experience building revenue-generating products that engage millions of users in a two-sided marketplace

  Proven experience in leading and revolutionizing high-growth, technology-driven businesses in the content and creative spaces

  Leadership experience in digital media marketplaces and delivering products that customers love

  Experience working with content creators in digital media

  Passion for audio content and creative talent

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
