Job Description The Senior Director, North America – Go to Market Operations as part of the North America Product for Visa Commercial Solutions, is responsible for supporting multiple sales teams by developing and delivering thought leadership, market trends, portfolio benchmarking and client facing collateral. This Senior Director will lead a team that supports Small, Middle, Large Market, Fintech and Government Sales teams in North America (US and Canada).
The role requires Executive Presence, Vision, Curiosity, Critical Thinking, Strong People Leadership, Living the Visa Leadership Principles, Creative Problem Solving, Breadth of Knowledge about product and sales operations.
The talent to lead by example, enable and inspire and collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment while creating and executing on go to market processes, market insights and impactful portfolio benchmarks - is critical to succeeding in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of organizational change, product management and sales operations within the context of B2B payments.
Essential Functions:
Defines NA go to market approach for products delivered from the Global product team in the US and Canada marketsDevelops and executes on go to market operations and processes including end to end tracking of product/solution launch to Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)Manages key research partners and packages resulting deliverablesManages advocacy partners, engagements and market presence including but not limited to: She’s Next events; America Small Business Development Center events (ASBDC); DE&I market events; National Center for the Middle MarketManages business line operational budget across two countries, cost centers and currenciesTracks product performance in the region and works with Sales and Product owners to adjust strategy as neededDevelops competitive assessments in conjunction with product ownersLeads the production of market and client benchmark reportsCollaborates closely with cross-functional teams on market deliverables such as roadmaps, press releases, marketing collateral: including Global Product; Regional Sales; Global & Regional marketing; Marketing Communications; Account Executives; Strategy and OperationsBuild, lead and inspire high performing and diverse teams – strong, consistent demonstration of Visa Leadership principlesDevelops and nurtures cross-functional relationships across the organization This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
• Proven experience in developing and executing on organizational processes
• Data analytics and benchmarking

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 163,800.00 to 225,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
