The Audience Impact & Intelligence team are a specialized group of strategists and researchers who power advertising sales with audience-forward, culturally fluent insights for the ever-changing media ecosystem. We inspire our advertising sales teams with deep audience understanding, strategic insights and data clout for their clients. We specialize in studies, surveys, data sets and metrics that help internal and external clients further their knowledge of targets, engagement, consumerism, ad efficiency and culture.

Reporting to the Vice President of the Market and Cultural Intelligence, this person will primarily support the Ad Sales teams, and their clients, with significant insights, thought leadership, and future-forward cultural intelligence across audiences, business units, and subjects. We are looking for a team-oriented researcher, storyteller and writer who can craft culture-forward narratives across a variety of topics! The optimal candidate will be both deeply creative and simultaneously analytical, diligent, and comfortable with project management.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Support the Advertising Sales teams through the development of engaging, research-based insights stories about audiences, the media landscape, business developments across categories and cultural or seasonal topics Implement creative ways to approach research, innovative methodologies and compelling storytelling Craft compelling insight stories into actionable short-form content for internal and external use Handle the production or execution of materials affiliated with those insights stories, including qualitative and quantitative research, creative materials and videos, presentations, editorial writing and events Write and edit public-facing materials such as reports, articles, whitepapers & newsletters to promote cultural intelligence studies Research and analyze relevant industry trends and consumer behavior BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years of experience in research, marketing strategy, account planning in an advertising agency, brand strategy, market research or consulting firm ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: A strong interest in media and entertainment, business positioning, brand strategy, and culture, and the ability to think and write critically about how these elements interact Strong written communication and editing experience Experience with project management, preparing briefing materials, wide range of qualitative and quantitative managing timelines and handling vendor relationships Strong quantitative and qualitative experience and sound creative storytelling and writing abilities, with an interest in developing engaging materials such as topline analyses, presentation materials, articles, etc. Superior communication and interpersonal skills with a desire to work collaboratively to share ideas A curious and resourceful approach, with a desire to analyze relevant industry and cultural trends proactively Solid understanding of the linear, digital, and cross-platform advertising industry Knowledge of research providers and databases, such as YouGov, MRI Simmons, etc. Skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint/Keynote, Excel, Outlook, and Google Office Products Bachelor's degree #LI-Hybrid

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $139,200.00 - 174,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
