We are seeking an experienced, driven HR Business Partner to join the Blue Crew and support our US Commercial and Legal & Compliance organizations in their mission to bring life-changing therapies to patients worldwide. This moment in time, as our teams are launching FDA approved AYVAKIT® (avapritinib), the first and only treatment for Indolent Systemic Mastocytosis, represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create immediate and longer-term impact for patients and the Company as a whole.

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategies and ensuring our talent across US Commercial and Legal & Compliance have what they need to operate at their best.
What will you do?
Strategic thought partnership with the business: Collaborate with US Commercial and Legal & Compliance leadership to understand their strategic goals, challenges, and workforce requirements. Create and implement talent development, engagement, and retention strategies designed to enable the business to meet its goals. Identify and address talent and organizational-related opportunities and challenges, ensuring that our teams have the right talent and capabilities to achieve their objectives. Shape overall HR and talent strategy: Build strong, trusting relationships with SMEs across all HR disciplines Support the evolution of our organizational talent strategy by offering perspective and ensuring the needs of the business are adequately reflected Influence the evolution and utilization of data and people analytics, in partnership with HR SME’s, to inform business decisions, initiate action and liberate thinking. Team effectiveness: Seek to understand team dynamics and find creative and thoughtful ways to enhance team performance and ensure inclusive and empowering team environments Design and facilitate workshops and focus groups to enhance team effectiveness, ensuring sessions are actionable and solutions are sustainable Operate as a trusted sounding board, coach and mentor for team leaders and members Performance management: Execute core people processes in a way that is efficient, equitable and empowering for all involved Support managers and employees in identifying, diagnosing, and addressing performance challenges Encourage a performance-driven culture that recognizes and rewards exceptional contributions to our patient-centric mission. Talent development and engagement: In partnership with leaders and the Learning & Development function, design and deliver learning and development initiatives to enhance the capabilities of our US Commercial and Legal & Compliance teams, fostering a culture of continuous growth. Implement employee engagement programs (including surveys) that strengthen collaboration, motivation, and a sense of purpose among team members. Advance our Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) efforts company-wide through self-education, active engagement in initiatives, and pull-through of ED&I concepts into our people processes and all other aspects of how we engage with our talent at Blueprint. Employee relations: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, offering support and guidance on HR-related matters and creating a safe space for employees to come for support and guidance Foster an inclusive, equitable and diverse work environment Mediate and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations Organizational design & change management: Collaborate with leadership to design effective organizational structures and manage change initiatives smoothly. Develop and implement strategies for organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Ability to travel for in-person regional and national meetings throughout the year
What minimum qualifications do we require?
Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of 10 years’ progressive human resources experience as an HR Business Partner
What additional qualifications will make you a stronger candidate?
Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical or medical device or technology industry preferred. Strong business acumen and proven ability to diagnose and co-develop solutions with and for the business High integrity and professionalism with ability to remain calm and optimistic in challenging situations Strong and reliable execution and follow-through coupled with an ability to think strategically, operate in ambiguity, and remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Humble, and believes their talents can be developed (through hard work, deliberate development strategies, and feedback from others); a growth mindset.
