  Job Summary

  A strategic, functional IT leader with deep experience in Customer / GTM technologies and business capabilities. Responsible for understanding the business and developing digital strategies working with the customer care leadership that provides maximum value in support of and aligned with the business strategy. Accountable for driving efficiency and quality in technology development and delivery processes with a deep connection to business stakeholder needs through a partnership approach. Transformational leader that encourages, inspires, and motivates teams to perform in ways that create meaningful change and value for the business while exploring new business models to drive growth.

  Responsibilities

  Technology Innovation and Transformation:

  Partner with GCCX to develop and maintain a technology vision, strategy and roadmap that is capable of scale, identifying potential areas of risk while meeting business and technology needsProvide expertise on best-in-class Customer Care Digital solutions and external market practice and guide the business on the best digital solution to deliver against their business needs. Acts as Customer Care Domain Architecture specialistEnsures Customer Care technology strategy and architecture is effective, efficient, and scalable as well as in line with Equinix's overarching enterprise systems strategyDrive technology transformation: Enable simplified processes and lead implementation of digital solutions to enhance delivery speed and product quality in service to the Customer Care StrategiesPromote and practice a change-oriented mindset to invigorate transformative initiatives and ensure successful implementation across teams. Be a transformative leader with the ability to see opportunities to drive change

  Business Stakeholder Collaboration:

  Engage with VP, SVP, and C-level executives to set, align, and drive the strategic vision and roadmap for IT aligned with business and IT strategiesTake joint ownership and accountability on business-driven KPIs that are technology-drivenInfluence and drive high-level decision-making and secure buy-in for IT strategies and initiativesTranslate and prioritize stakeholder input: Translate stakeholder business needs into technology requirements and push for business process clarity where needed

  Drives Execution Excellence:

  Lead prioritization by managing consistency of demand prioritization, product quality, and project delivery for application developmentEnsure on-target delivery of applications: Monitor the performance of ongoing application development through performance and resource metrics and development plansWill execute and deliver technology solutions and programs flawlessly, from inception to adoption, maximizing value opportunity across the technology portfolio and teams

  Lead Diverse Teams:

  Shape a collaborative, transparent, and entrepreneurial culture in tandem with the corporate leadership teamMotivate employees around a shared vision and change story.

  Qualifications

  15+ years in IT-GTM discipline requiring direct management of GTM applications systems, personnel, and budget or 15+ years managing, owning, and delivering Customer Care / GTM applications systems, preferably in the tech industry with a global teamExperience leading technology transformation, particularly in customer-enabling applicationsExperience leading an organization through an agile Digital transformationExperience implementing and supporting enterprise-wide customer / GTM systems

  Skills and Attributes:

  Exceptional ability to collaborate with executive business stakeholder teams to understand their needs and to set and drive the strategic vision and roadmap for business partners in alignment with IT strategyStrong domain expertise and a knack for influencing the business and driving true partnership and decision-making with the Customer Care function to solve problems, drive prioritization, and deliver systemsAdvanced ability to provide thought leadership, inspire behavior change, be decisive when faced with ambiguity, communicate vision and influence across the organizationProven expertise as a product leader who can visualize and create IT solutions as 'products' that offer value to the GCCX and its customersProven track record of driving key performance indicators (KPIs) or OKRs that measure the success of initiatives against desired business outcomesAbility to be execution-driven and results-oriented to ensure strategy translates to outcomesExcellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse IT team

  San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $179,000 to $304,000 per yearCalifornia (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $172,000 to $293,000 per yearColorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $159,000 to $271,000 per year

  Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

  This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

  The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
