The Opportunity
Reporting directly to Adobe's VP of Marketing Strategy & Global Communications, the Senior Director of Digital Media Communications will lead global communications strategy for our Digital Media (DMe) business, which includes Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, and Document Cloud. The customer focus is on creative professionals, communicators, consumers, SMBs, and students.
This senior leader will be a key partner to DMe leadership inclusive of the DMe President and their global Leadership Team. This strategic role will oversee the vision, development, and execution of end-to-end Communications programs in partnership with cross-functional teams across global comms, marketing, and the GTM (go-to-market) teams. They will lead an industry-leading team to develop communications strategies and program plans aligned with Adobe's overall GTM and business goals across critical communications, positioning, and messaging, public relations and thought leadership, and internal and executive communications.
As Adobe's DMe GTM evolves to be more always-on with a focus on earned and owned channels, this is a critical role in shaping the future of communications and Adobe's brand with key audiences and segments.
What You'll Do
Set the vision for a new approach for DMe comms while partnering closely with executives and business leaders, to accelerate our go-to-market approach across the business.
Architect the integrated, end-to-end communications strategy, programs, and investment recommendations for Adobe's Digital Media business.
Support the development of product positioning and develop strategic narratives to advance Adobe's awareness and reputation among target audiences.
Scale communications approach and operating model globally, while inspiring and leading a first-rate communications team to deliver on the communications vision and strategy.
Provide frameworks and programmatic support to ensure scale and consistency in execution and outcomes.
What You Need to Succeed
Experience leading teams at scale: executive presence and proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
Success in high-growth environments: experience creating, executing, and leading global communications in agile, fast-paced environments.
Innovation and creativity: ability to conceptualize and effectively communicate ideas, to improve and chart the next chapter of storytelling.
Modern storytelling approach: Depth in digital communications and the social ecosystem with an understanding of multimedia, visual storytelling, and modern communications platforms.
Experience working in consumer products is highly preferred.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $171,600 -- $352,400 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
