The Senior Director, Brand & External Comms will be responsible for leading global development and execution of the strategic and creative direction for the TE Connectivity brand and reputation and will be focused on driving business growth and awareness, especially with strategic customer segments. He/she will direct daily activities of marketing and communications personnel and oversee the company's brand, reputation and supporting agency relationships. This role will manage strategy, execution and talent needed to win with employees, customers and investors and strengthen the company's ability to meet future growth objectives.
We are looking for an experienced leader to lead this COE and optimize our brand and reputation practice and enterprise operating model. To be effective you must have proven success leading a brand and external communications organization within a complex company structure that demands a highly collaborative approach, be able to operate globally, influence and spark change/progress, work well in matrixed organizations, and be ready to drive a strategic vision for the future. The ideal candidate will be equal parts change agent, marketer and communicator and will thrive leading a global team of brand and communication professionals.
Core Responsibilities
BRAND
Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness. Develop, implement and refresh (when needed) the company's overall brand and image. Establish guidelines and policies on brand, image and media management.Lead social media programsAid the capture of incremental growth opportunities by creating, executing and leading the campaigns for top strategic priorities, with clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies and tactics.Oversee and ensure effectiveness of creative and brand vendor relationships.Develop, implement and monitor the performance of marketing concepts, branding and image. Establish marketing goals and key performance indicators for the different products offered and analyze the impact and effectiveness of marketing campaigns.Ensure that brand initiatives are woven into digital marketing's execution through websites, social media properties, videos and ads.Ensure the brand conveys one voice to all parties, providing strategic guidance to align messaging to all stakeholders.Support marketing strategies across channels and oversee marketing execution of brand across businesses including SEO.Manage and develop a team of motivated and experienced marketing leaders.

What your background should look like:
12+ years of brand and marketing management and/or corporate communications experience in a best-in-class global environment, preferably in technology industryExperience in best practice brand and communication processes for a global marketing operation. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a complex B2B context (for a company with a hero brand identity).Global management of communication programsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsResults-oriented with a track record for driving corporate communications efforts that have measurable business impactExperience with C-level communicationsAccomplished strategic communications leader with versatile ability to articulatePreference will be given to candidates with experience working for brands that have changed due to new market entry or M&A activity. COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $$199,600 - $299,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
