Summary of Position:
This position resides in the Research and Engineering organization and will be responsible for managing projects in the area of Digital Transformation. The incumbent will work closely with customers to implement digital tools to increase efficiency in the product development process specifically to identify and implement initiatives targeted at updating data management infrastructure and creating more agile tools for product assessments.
Responsibilities:
Understands product development processes. Identifies agile tools to drive efficiency.Plans and organizes work for large complexity projects to meet project deliverablesManages projects by developing timelines, dashboards and mitigating risksDocuments and prepares technical reportsLeverages knowledge to identify/implement best-in-class data management systems and processesLeads broad cross functional teams primarily Research and Information Technology Communicates in compelling way to build credibility of work and influence leadershipHas vision and strategic planning skills to build 3-5 year innovation pathways
Influence:
The incumbent will leverage knowledge in data management and strong collaboration with business unit and Information Technology partners to influence leadership to invest in updated infrastructure and tools to drive more efficient Research and Engineering ways of working. They will interact with Directors/VPs at least quarterly to provide clear updates on existing work and drive alignment on plans for future work.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor degree in a science related curriculum At least 5 years of experience in Research and Engineering in product developmentStrong knowledge and experience applying data analytics and data managementDemonstrated ability to lead and direct multi-functional teams to meet business objectivesAbility to influence people at all organizational levels, drive decision-making and execute complex projects on demanding timelines. Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate ideas and opportunities to leadership
Preferred:
Experience in consumer and/or cosmetic product developmentProject management experience in a Research and Engineering functionAt least 5-10 years in product development. Background working with data management tools
