Summary of Role:
Our Design and Technology Enablement teams are working on thedevelopment of a broad portfolio of semiconductor technologies rangingfrom 350 nm down to 12nm including FD-SOI, RF, High-Voltage andautomotive applications.
We seek candidates with strong passion for advanced device development,new device feature definition, and for meeting project targets andobjectives. The best candidates will have a healthy combination ofdevice knowledge and EDA or programming skills.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
Develop ESD and Latch up protection device/circuit solutions forGlobalFoundries differentiated technology portfolioDesign test macros for electrical characterization and JEDECqualification. Define test plans. Execute qualification plans perindustry standards.Analyse electrical test data using languages such as Python and RDevelop ESD/ Latch-up-related physical ground rulesDevelop supporting documentation, such as user guides andapplication notesSubmit and track failure analysis samples to understand observedfailure and defect modesEnsure correct process monitors are in place for robust ESD/Latch-upmanufacturingCollaborate closely with Quality, Reliability, and Technology teamsfor technology qualificationWork with circuit IO Design Teams to co-optimize I/O and ESDperformance.Other Responsibilities:

B.S. in Solid State Physics, Electrical Engineering, MaterialsScience, or other relevant engineering disciplines with 2-4 Years ofExperienceAcademic work or relevant experience with semiconductor processtechnology or semiconductor device designAptitude and desire for learning new skills/techniques.Team player; able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast pacedenvironment, Self motivated.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitmentsLanguage Fluency - English: Excellent written and oralcommunications skills.Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Solid State Physics, Electrical Engineering, or otherrelevant engineering discipline + 0-2 Year experience.... Or...MS in Solid State Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other relevantengineering discipline + 2-3 Year experienceUnderstanding of semiconductor process fabrication flow,nanofabrication, solid state and semiconductor device physics anddesign of experiments (DOE) methodology.Familiarity with semiconductor physical design including electricaltest structure design.Practical experience using Electronic Design Automation [EDA]tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor CalibreExperience with device simulations tools such as TCAD.Strong data analysis, data mining and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal skills; team player; able to work effectivelyin a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Expected Salary Range
