ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Desktop Publisher to join our team to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. As a Senior Desktop Publisher, you will complete desktop publishing and production activities primarily in support of Federal proposal responses. As part of the EPO DTP team, you will partner with proposal managers, coordinators, technical subject matter experts, consultants, editors, graphic designers and other team members to produce proposal templates, documents, and related material while ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements and adherence to ManTech’s corporate branding standards. You will be required to meet tight turnaround times and work extra hours to meet proposal deadlines as necessary and be willing to work varied shifts, if needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Review solicitations to ensure full understanding of relevant submission requirements; review amendments and answers to questions, as appropriate
• Prepares documents quickly and accurately by developing compliant Word templates (.dotx) and writing shells (.docx) based on solicitation requirements while adhering to ManTech’s standards for quality, format, and style
• Perform desktop publishing in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat to produce hard/soft copy versions of proposal files for color team reviews
• Ensure final versions of graphics are properly inserted into final proposal documents
• Work closely with the Proposal Manager, Proposal Coordinator, Graphic Designer, and Editor throughout the proposal development process
• Maintain ownership, version control, and quality assurance of Proposal Working Files from Gold Team through final production
• Coordinate work with other team members using Microsoft Teams to ensure document version control in support of proposal development and finalization
• Publish CDs and flash drives as required by the RFP and test on multiple computers
• Lead and participate in DTP-related training, as required
Minimum Qualifications:
• Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of proposal-specific desktop publishing experience using Microsoft Word OR an Associate’s degree and 9 years of experience OR a High School Diploma/GED and 11 years of experience
• Experience with Government proposals and familiarity with analyzing solicitation requirements (e.g., instructions, evaluation criteria, SOW) that impact format and production
• Extensive knowledge using styles to format Word documents and developing templates for large, complex documents
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects while working quickly, accurately, and efficiently under tight deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
• A team player who collaborates effectively in a team environment
• Effective communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
• Ability to occasionally work outside of standard work hours to meet project deadlines
• Possess an excellent command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearancePhysical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
The projected compensation range for this position is $94,500-$157,000. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
