As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our software, ensuring consistency, usability, and elegance across our product suite. Your customers are UKG's software developers and designers; your work will lay the foundation upon which we can build a seamless and user-friendly HCM experience. You will contribute to the overall vision, creating a product roadmap focused on delivering customer value across multiple releases. You will manage this roadmap and ensure each product release is successful by fostering team collaboration, continuous improvement and representing the voice of the customer. You will take ownership for what features are built; helping the cross functional team of developers, designers, and testers understand vision and priority.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Inspire and lead the product development team with manager's support but not authority.
• Take accountability for the successful delivery of all roadmap releases and features along with achieving product goals and KPIs.
• Understand the market and becomes the voice of the customer, leading discovery sessions with internal stakeholders.
• Validate opportunities and solutions with internal customers as part of defining the product strategy, vision, and roadmap.
• Use data to help inform and prioritize product decisions and priorities and manage product metrics.
• Use customer insights and data to derive a compelling product value proposition and vision for the next 3-5 years.
• Clearly define product metric goals and the right mechanisms to collect, track, report and react to the data.
• Assist with product positioning and key messaging.
• Possess the knowledge and the tools to be ready for internal training and demos.
• Stay current with evolving product practices and development methodologies and learns new skills as needed.
• Mentor others within the product organization in the latest best practices and trends
• Break features into vertically sliced stories and clearly communicate these requirements to engineers and designers via user stories, use case scenarios and acceptance criteria to help focus the team on solving the right challenges.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, tech, design or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience in a software product management role, working with software development as well as UI/UX teams.
• Record of delivering features on time with quality and value (with an ability to modify scope)
• Familiarity with software development methods such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, unit testing, modules, agile development, etc.
• Ability to work on site 3 days per week in our Weston FL office, from day one of employment
Preferred Qualifications
• Design system knowledge
• Experience working with a team abroad
• Familiarity with mapping user flows, and understanding how people use complex products or broad suites.
• Familiarity with managing multiple roadmaps, and understanding how people use complex products or broad suites is a plus
