Data Steward- Product Marketing Enrichment role will be part of the Reuters team focusing on Data Governance, Data Stewardship being a Data team member,
by ensuring implementation of enterprise data governance, and ethics policies.
This role will be the first point of contact for end users responsible for stakeholder collaboration, understanding the requirements, and identifying areas of improvement by identifying gaps in data, recommending solutions and overseeing implementation of changes.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior Data Governance & Steward Partner, you will:Act as a data and model governance consultant and educator on critical data projects.Ensure that Policies, Standards and Guiding Principles are applied efficiently and collaborate with business stakeholders to encourage and ensure DMG practices.Work with data engineering and technology teams to ensure new datasets, new pipelines, migrations, integration etc. follow company DMG practices.Work with cross-functional data owners, SMEs and the data team to monitor and manage data health.Take ownership of the data issue management and resolution process.Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, advancements and automation, and help analysts in the team to identify gaps in data, recommend solutions and oversee implementation of changes.Establish relationships and maintain communications with technology, product and sales teams in the context of data generation, flows, transformation and usage.Help data team maintain extensive documentation on data lineage, data flows, data modifications and workflows etc.
About You
Bachelor's degree required7+ years experience in one or more of Digital, Data, Models (AI/ML), Analysis, and/or Technology rolesExperience applying collaborative problem-solving, negotiation, and change activist skillsPractical experience working within a data ethics/governance frameworkProcess analysis skills, with the ability to translate business issues and requirements into actionable plansThorough understanding of data and systems infrastructuresThorough understanding of data quality managementPractical experience working within a data ethics/governance frameworkTechnical skills in exploring, analyzing, profiling,and manipulating data sets (e.g. SQL, Python, Alteryx...)
