RESPONSIBILITIES
Create Source To Target Mapping (STTM) & Data Definition Language (DDL) File Maps
Design and implement data models, data transformations, manipulations, and enhancements
Produce data insights based on the business requirements
Utilize data engineering skills to load data from various data sources into the data warehouse
Migrate legacy Spark and Implement Glue ETL
Design event-based data pipelines
Investigate and resolve production data quality issues
Establish infrastructure for data pipelines and deploy/manage pipelines in production
Provide production support when needed & mentor other team members
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to be onsite in Toronto daily
Extensive Development experience within the AWS Cloud echosystem
Exosure to formation and services including ECS batch, Glue process, IAM roles, Athena and S3 bucket creation
Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts
Experience in Python or Scala
Proven history working with spark and pyspark
Knowledge of SQL and Tableau reporting
