About the team:
The Analytics team is a group of talented analysts and data modelers with a mission to provide our business partners with a streamlined data experience, through the employment of self-service models, insightful guidance, and analytical enablement.
The Role:
This Senior Data Analyst, Engineering and Product will be responsible for supporting the business through the development, analysis, and presentation of our data to key business partners and executive leadership. Reporting up to the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence, this role will have the opportunity to design key reporting infrastructure that helps us develop a SaaS platform that delights our customers.
Key responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility will be to report on key metrics crucial to the development lifecycle of our products.
Analyzing development velocity, cycle time, and lead time to optimize processes and identify areas for improvement. Building and maintaining reports on bug rates, resolution time, and code quality metrics, to ensure the quality and efficiency of our software delivery. Contributing to the overall reliability and stability of our systems through the development and monitoring of metrics such as deployment frequency, incident response times, and test coverage. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and business leaders, translating complex data findings into actionable insights to our team leaders that drive the success of our engineering and product initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for:
Developing and maintaining interactive and intuitive dashboards using Tableau to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Producing insightful analysis that effectively communicates complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Curating and maintaining data models in snowflake and Tableau for team and stakeholder use. Collaborating with the data engineering team, effectively communicating business partner needs and advising in the implementation of new data sources into Snowflake, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and availability.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred, but open to non-degreed candidates with relevant experience Requirement Include:
Minimum 3 years of Experience in Tableau or a similar BI Visualization Tool Minimum 3 years of SQL Experience Minimum 3 years of Experience with Jira or similar agile tools. Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on supporting engineering and product teams Prior experience with the software development lifecycle including agile/scrum methodologies Basic Excel, Word and/or PowerPoint Preferred Experience:
Experience in a software development life cycle in a framework similar to Agile. Able to work well closely and individually with Stakeholders on projects. Be able to efficiently and effectively communicate to a room of business partners and peers. A proven track record driving analysis to outcomes. Base Compensation Range: ($95,000.00 to $130,000.00) annually
Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
