The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Description
The GRS Risk Center of Excellence comprises teams of subject matter experts aligned to each of the key risk areas. The newly created Center of Excellence will drive global consistency in risk management practices, improve transparency into the overall GRS risk profile, and support the Segment and Entity Risk teams with specialist risk coverage. Cyber Risk Management is part of the Non-Property Exposure Analytics team that focusses on cyber as peril and hazard across the whole organization with close alignment to the GRS Office of Underwriting.
This position may have in-office requirements depending on candidate location.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for evaluating and reporting gross and net cyber exposures and modelled losses across all lines of business as required for internal and external reporting, including regulatory submissions. Support model validation work to understand and evaluate the impact of model updates and revisions on the outputs produced; communicate relevant insights to stakeholders. Support the Head of GRS Cyber Risk Management with the development and assessment of new RDS to improve transparency into and understanding of the GRS cyber risk profile. Support alignment of validation process with regards to exposure data standards, modelling best practices and view of cyber risk. Coordinate with Risk and Underwriting teams across the business to ensure transparency into GRS cyber risk and delivery of effective cyber exposure management. Lead the continuous improvement of data completeness and data quality. Communicate effectively with underwriters on the contribution of their class exposure to the total cyber risk and the impact of their portfolio changes to the cyber tolerance. Other ad hoc assignments as may be required. Qualifications Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Mathametics, Statistics, Cyber security). A knowledge of Cyber Insurance and keen interest in cyber risk in general. Expert knowledge and proven experience of utilizing functions within Microsoft Excel. Experience within an Exposure management team, prior focus on non-property lines e.g. Casualty, Cyber, preferred. Practical experience of portfolio roll-up, realistic disaster scenarios, implementing control frameworks, MI design and reporting. Excellent knowledge of technical coding including SQL, R or VBA. Experience of using and developing solutions via PowerBI is desirable. Highly analytical, with ability to process and understand data quickly and creatively. Ability to work independently whilst integrating into a time critical business environment. Efficient and organized individual with a mindset for continuous improvements. Experience coaching/training/managing individuals is desirable. Excellent business communication skills including the ability to communicate technical concepts to range of audiences, and creative thinking to solve complex issues as they arise. About Us
