  About the Role

  The Customer Activation team for the Nordics works closely with our key account and sales team to build relationships and understand the needs of customers and consumers. The team also works closely with our brand teams in order to ensure the brand strategies are implemented in a locally relevant manner.

  In this role as Senior Customer Activation Manager, you, will sit right at the heart of business collaborating with internal and external partners ensure they have all the insights, growth drivers and tools they need to deliver stellar execution of Diageo’s commercial plan to shift consumer and shopper behavior to achieve Diageo’s financial and market share ambition.

  You will be working with a cluster of markets: Norway, Sweden and Finland and report directly to the Head of Customer Activation, Nordics.

  Understanding the customer needs by channel to pinpoint the activation priorities that deliver the greatest impact on shopper behaviour and foster the highest return on investment per market will be a key element of this role.

  You will lead and nurture a team of 2 - 4 FTEs.

  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  Lead and develop a team of Customer Activation Managers

  Build the activation plans around the shopper marketing activities by channel by programme and activity feeding into the one commercial plan

  Oversee brilliant activation of the commercial calendar partnering customers, supply, and agencies to build a world class activation machine for the managed part of the business: Whisky & Innovation

  Lead the perfect delivery of all assets and tools to deliver great activation for key brands and customers.

  Understand customer needs by channel to pin-point the activation priorities that deliver the greatest impact on shopper behaviour

  About You

  5+ years’ experience in a marketing/project management/commercial role in the FMCG business leading to a strong end to end commercial FMCG understanding

  A history of working with marketing, trade marketing, or in commercial/sales roles.

  Passion for creating experiences for customers and consumers

  Problem solver and teammate who can deal with ambiguity and adapt quickly

  Analytical skills, decision making based on data and insights

  Experience working with multiple geographies and cultures is preferred

  Proficient in English. A Nordic language is a plus.

  Experience leading a team (directly or indirectly) is preferred but not required
