  NTT DATA Services is currently looking for a Senior Consultant/Director (f/m/d) Life Sciencesfor our growing team in Switzerland.

  Life Sciences Consulting Practice

  Our Life Sciences team includes management consultants with Global expertise in Drug / Device discovery to commercialization processes. Practice specialties include preclinical discovery, clinical trials, regulatory quality and compliance, medical affairs, pharmacovigilance, manufacturing and supply chain, pharma sales and marketing. We're a partner who's there for our client's transformation journey - from strategy and delivery to achieving business outcomes. Our clients include many of the Global Life Sciences companies.

  The Role

  As a Senior Consultant/Director (f/m/d) Life Sciences you will have access to building incredible opportunities with our clients. You will work collaboratively as part of a client-facing team to deliver value to our clients and help them meet their business objectives. The NTT DATA global presence will allow opportunities across a variety of clients and, possibly, countries. You will regularly interact with and learn from our industry experts and more experienced team members in driving business solutions and outcomes to help our client achieve their digital, data and transformational goals.

  Key Responsibilities

  In this role you will contribute to the growth of the practice in a variety of ways including client contributions and internal practice contributions:

  Client Contributions:

  Build and maintain professional relationship with Senior and C-level client executives and expand professional network in client organizations Ability to speak on behalf of the client's best interests, and countering views of the client executives if necessary Manage and/or oversee the management of large and complex client engagements Adapt existing processes and procedures to create alternative solutions to complex problems Assess the value of business and/or technology trends and identify opportunities for incorporating these into the client's business and/or IT solutions Drives the operational processes and services in support of knowledge management objectives to continuously improve program services and increase value delivered to clients Regularly serves as a Pre-sales support specialist through the development of materials and by presenting complex solutions to prospective clients as a subject matter expert Working on projects that will leverage your expertise in life sciences and management consulting Assist in breaking down complex business problems, developing solutions and delivering with high degree of focus on client satisfaction With limited guidance, conduct market research, develop a point-of-view, and communicate effectively back to clients and stakeholders Bring innovative thinking, resourcefulness, and agility achieved by leveraging best practices and creativity to get things done Leverage your communication and client facing skills to communicate, present, run working sessions / meetings Establish relationships with our clients at the appropriate levels, gain understanding of the project work and problems encountered Use good judgment in communicating with clients to represent NTT DATA with best intentions of developing and maintain longstanding client relationships.

  Internal Contributions:

  Actively participate in defining the portfolio of projects within the Life Sciences Consulting practice Create/identify growth opportunities within existing and new clients using visionary industry knowledge, intellectual capital, background in potential problem areas, knowledge of upcoming regulatory or market changes to create engagement opportunities Anchor new and existing client accounts, and interfacing on engagement-level client concerns Lead teams to prepare large proposals and program plans, facilitate differentiators (e.g. specific consulting frameworks, intellectual property etc.), articulate value proposition, review and fine-tune the financials, and lead proposal presentations in order to create a compelling proposition for the client to engage NTT DATA Demonstrate the ability to attract, retain and develop top consulting talent and the next generation of NTT DATA Consulting leaders

  Basic Qualifications:

  Several years of Consulting experience in the Life Sciences Industry Several years of Big 4 or equivalent Management consulting and Project management experience in the Life Sciences Industry Corporate Functions experience in one or more of these areas - Procurement, IT, and Finance R&D experience in one or more of these areas - Clinical Manufacturing, Clinical Trials, Supply Management & Process Development, IT solutions for Life Sciences industry Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to effectively resolve conflict and exercise mature judgment Ability to work independently to drive towards performance targets including sales and utilization targets Strong oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills (development of presentations and executive level presenting) Fluent in English; German and additional languages a plus

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Several years of leadership experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience with an industry or service offering focus. Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience; experience managing large multi-location projects and consulting engagement teams is desirable. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and create rapport through effective and succinct written and verbal communication. Exercises sound judgment with minimal support from practice executives through structured problem identification, mitigation, and resolution. You are a team player that is a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible "can-do" attitude, and a commitment to success.

  Location/travel

  This position can be performed from any location in Switzerland, preferably in or close to Basel. Travel in this role is required as needed.
