Job Description
The Senior Manager, Commissioning is ultimately responsible for business development within the existing client portfolio, personnel management and the execution of professional services within a limited geographical area, for a high profile client, or for several key commissioning clients. The position responsibilities include the project management of select program services at high potential or prominent clients within the region. The primary program engagement shall be building commissioning, inclusive of: New Building Commissioning, Retro-Commissioning, Design Reviews, Building Management Systems (BMS) upgrades and support, and System Diagnostics as well as Business Development. Additional duties include participation in the development of commissioning program elements and executional excellence of the same.
Job Responsibilities
Manage 4-9 Engineers and/or Technical Staff
Engage and Lead the Talent Acquisition for the project and program needs
Mentor junior level staff to assist in their professional growth
Approve Invoicing and Assist with Accounts Receivables for Assigned Clients
Lead Development New Project Proposals and Cost Proformas with AD and Director
Coordinate staff scheduling
Provides Monthly Financial and Technical Staffing Projections
Participates in Program Development and lead team Execution
Support in the Recruiting of new employees
Identify new commissioning opportunities within regional responsibilities and client base
Responsible for the technical quality, accuracy on multiple commissioning projects for the assigned clients
Qualifications
Engineering Degree ? Or Relevant Experience in Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, Controls or Energy related disciplines
Experience: 10 Years
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal)
Willingness for day travel and limited overnight travel
Demonstrated time management skills, resulting in the ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize time and resources accordingly
Ability to travel locally approximately 75% of the time
Demonstrated potential to advance within the organization
Management responsibility for 3 or more people
Direct accountability for 5 or more client relationships or 1 large client ($1M+ / $250k)
Net revenue accountability for more than $1M annually
FLC accountability for more than $0.25M annually
Technical sales accountability for more than $1M annual top line growth and more than $250k
