About Senior Cash Receipts Specialist (On-Site)

  GEICO continues to grow, and our Treasury department is hiring Senior Cash Receipts Specialists to join our team!. Under general supervision, the Senior Cash Receipts Specialist applies, processes, and researches subrogation recovery receipts.

   Responsibilities Apply subrogation recovery and multi-claim report receipts to claims system; this includes check, credit card, EFT, ACH, and Fraud payments Extract, endorse, voucher, and write claim number to subrogation payments. Research recovery subrogation payments without claim numbers in utilizing search tools Respond to, research, and process regional Claims and Cashier requests correctly and timely Return invalid Receipts to vendors and maintain check return log Prepares payment batches and runs calculator tapes for recovery receipts Retrieve check subrogation payments and claims correspondence from mailroom daily Void and correct subrogation payment amounts upon request Train associates on duties related to subrogation receipt handling Maintain various productivity and team tracking work logs daily The ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. Other duties as assigned Qualifications

  At least 2 years of experience in cash management, or related roleMust have 10 key and/or Data entry experience and be able to pass a skills assessment test using Microsoft Excel and Word.Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural informationMust be able to multi-taskMust have effective verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Cash Receipts experience is a PLUSAccounts Receivable experience is a PLUS Expectations Must be on-site 5 days a weekHourly position, may be required to work over-time, must be able to start no later than 8 AM ESTWork Location: Chevy Chase, MD or Macon, GAOpportunity for in-line promotion is available based on job performanceThe safety of our associates is GEICO's highest priority.
