Eaton's ES AMER PCS PCD division is currently seeking a Senior Buyer.
What you'll do:
Primary Function:
The Senior Buyer is responsible for the procurement of a variety of materials and services to effectively support the production requirements for the plant; develop appropriate stocking strategies; work with corporate resources to identify product supply sources, and review and negotiate purchase price; and manage vendor relationships/quality/delivery/inventory levels in accordance with plant objectives. Also, make the appropriate supplier escalations when needed, support special inventory strategies to drive company costs as VMI's, Consignments Inventory, etc. Support all other activities related to position and or that is needed as per the company urgency. Ability to use digital tools to create, analyze and present information to facilitate the communication and departmental metrics. Also, this incumbent can support line transfer implementations.

Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, operations, or a combination of those functions
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Relocation is not provided for this position. Candidates must reside within the immediate geographic area to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering from an accredited institution
• 3-5 years of procurement or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
• 3-5 years' experience working with MRP / ERP systems preferred (SAP, MAPICS/AS400 or Oracle).
• Experience working in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment.
