Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the purchasing agent for all divisions of Facilities Management.
Review requisitions
Prepare solicitations
Review and edit contracts
Ensure compliance with all state procurement rules
Minimum Experience / Education:
Four-year degree from an accredited institution;
Two-year degree and at least four years of procurement-related experience; or
An equivalent combination of education and procurement-related work experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Contract review training or certification
Construction procurement experience
Knowledge of public higher education or governmental procurement practices
