  Job Summary

  As Senior Business Analyst in the Corporate application division, you would be working on some of our latest ventures to Support and Enhance cutting-edge SaaS business applications. You will be helping us with coordination, documentation, test execution, conducting POC, post-production maintenance, and support of the Oracle Cloud SaaS enterprise application production support and continuous improvement of the application landscape.

  This position acts as a critical liaison between the company's financial functions including Corporate Controllership, Regional Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Business Assurance, and the company's IT organization.

  Responsibilities

  Business Support

  Provides first-line support to users of financial applicationsResponding to business user queriesProviding one-on-one support, explanations, and guidance to users regarding finance operationsTriaging data issues, process issues, and business user errorsLiaise with IT and business users to define and prioritize business-related issues associated with systemsPartner with other system owners to ensure data quality, timing, and financial reporting impacts are fully understood

  Take the lead role in

  Assisting with the business casePlanning and monitoringEliciting requirementsRequirements organizationTranslating and simplifying requirementsRequirements management and communication

  Requirement analysis

  Business Requirements AnalysisPartners with business stakeholders to analyze, define and document business requirements, within and across functional areasDrives best practices during requirements gathering and modelingHas a strong focus on gathering core requirements, beyond stated requirements and correctly placing these within a broader contextUnderstands business environment and helps to connect/align relevant business stakeholders

  Stakeholder Management

  Manages stakeholder expectations and communications within and beyond the functional trackKnows business environment well enough to identify and proactively include the correct stakeholderInteracts regularly with senior management-level stakeholders and demonstrates value from realized projects

  Solution Design

  Responsible for designing and documenting cross-functional and global solutions, drawing on the functional expertise of functional and technical team members or vendors, as appropriateAdvises on solutions prepared by peers or supporting team, and champions good design practicePartners with business stakeholders to analyze, define, and document business processes within and across functional areasDrives best practices during requirements gathering and modelingUnderstands business environment and helps to connect/align relevant business stakeholders

  Documentation

  Documents and reviews broader team documentationSupports the team in identifying and defining relevant documentation templates pertaining to solution deliveryIs a champion for knowledge transfer to enable/empower other team members

  Functional Design

  Develop functional designs for applications, integrations, and conversionsAbility to work on multiple functional areas and integrations with third-party productsKeeps up to date with industry trends and vendor capabilities to produce robust functional designsReviews functional designs and obtains signoffs with the cross-functional business and IT teamsProvides inputs into business processes based on design capabilitiesChampions sustainable, forward-looking functional designsLearn and adapt to new technologies in a short duration

  Testing & Test Design

  Execute System integration testingCoordinate user acceptance testing for new systems or enhancement releases. This involves assistance with the creation of test cases and follow-up to ensure users complete testing per the scheduleCoordinates integration testing validates test cases with stakeholders for user acceptance testing and training and obtains signoffsCoordinates defects clarification, triage, and coordinate resolution with engineering teamsPerforms Mock close on financial systems

  System Configurations

  Configures applications in line with business goalsDesigns forward-looking configurations by recognizing future needs aligned with the business roadmapDevelop configuration standards

  Day to Day Support (Production Support)

  Supports and trains junior resources and oversees quality in triage and troubleshooting practicesLeads troubleshooting efforts on critical issues with cross-functional teams through the resolutionIdentifies improvements to address repeat issues

  Training and Change Management

  Works with functional leadership teams to set expectations and conduct planning and execution of SME training activitiesDefines, communicates, and implements support and engagement plansAnalyzes adoption rates and issues assesses business case realization and proposes solutions to improveProvides ad hoc training to various financial users on key financial applications

  Qualifications

  Worked as Senior Systems Analyst, Senior Consultant, or Support Analyst for Oracle Fusion EPM application modulesHands-on experience in configuring, scripting, and testing for EPM Cloud application implementation and maintenanceYears of knowledge in Planning, Budgeting, and forecasting modulesWorked in most of the Oracle fusion EPM applications primarily on PBCS, PCMCS, and TRCS. Worked on other related EPM applications like FCCS, ARCS and EDMCSWorked with an onshore delivery leads and support teamHave in-depth finance functional knowledge to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutionsGood analytical and problem-solving abilityFlexible to work on a rotating shift model to support EMEA and AMER, timezone customers

  Preferred Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, IT, or a related field5 - 7 years of experience working within the finance or IT organization of a large multinational companyWorked in rotating shift model to support EMEA and AMER, timezone customersStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesWillingness to travel occasionally if neededPreference to computer science, mathematics, Accounting, and related fields of study
