JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical support to a variety of enterprise and shop floor applications.Track, troubleshoot and resolve application errors in a timely manner.Maintain a knowledge base of all issues and problems reported; record best practices/solutions to help others resolve similar situations.Work with other members of the application support team to identify and implement revisions that address the most frequent issues/problems reported.Develop, test and deploy management reports, data conversion and other utility programs as required.Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.Six (6) years of experience in application support of ERP's (i.e., JD Edwards Enterprise One and World, SAP, etc.).Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, able to communicate and collaborate with all levels of managementStrong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities, able to solve dynamic and complex problems.Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, able to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence, set and manage customer expectations.Strong organizational skills, can adapt to changing priorities, escalate and resolve issues as required, meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Working with JD Edwards (World A7.3 and JD EDwards Enterprise One 9.1/9.2) manufacturing and distribution modules to include product data management, engineering change management, work order processing, inventory, purchase order processing, sales order processing, material planning and scheduling and capacity management.An understanding of manufacturing and quality management processes, procedures and systems.An understanding of product costing and manufacturing accounting.Skilled user of reporting tools, e.g. ShowCase, Insight, SQL, iSeries query.Skilled user of batch job scheduling tools, e.g. iSeries Robot, TIDAL.A background in application support.Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
