Primary Purpose and Functions:
Responsible for development and execution of strategic plans at Whole Foods and Spouts, inclusive of demand and consumption planning, KPI tracking, promotion plans, trade spend, development of sales presentations and post-promotional analysis.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop relationships with our key account partners and build joint business plans to achieve MegaFood and customer aligned upon objectives.
Partner with account and marketing to create compelling in-store events through display, price reduction, sampling, and other demand driving activities.
Accurately forecast volume and trade spend (leveraging trade management system) and achieve gross and net sales goals.
Manage distributor relationship with UNFI which involves new item setup, understanding inventory levels, communicating service updates.
Utilize customer, competitor and category data, knowledge and KPIs to bring actionable account, industry and competitive insights.
Support designated KPIs through analytics to deliver insights and recommendations.
Maintain strong category and customer knowledge, industry research and competitive analysis.
Interface with internal departments including Operations, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory, and other departments as needed to support customer base.
Designs and implements a highly effective and efficient go-to-market strategy and with collaborative customer plans that deliver against organizational objectives and goals.
Uses analytical rigor to identify key insights that create opportunity and address issues and proactively communicates key information with Sales leadership and Marketing.
Manages and attends national and regional industry sales conferences.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts preferred or equivalent business experience.
10+ years’ experience in sales management or marketing with experience in the Vitamin, Mineral and Supplement industry preferred.
Experience with Whole Foods and/Sprouts preferred.
Successful Sales/Brand building experience.
Aggressively pursues goals and objectives with a clear bias for action (i.e. urgency).
Comfortable with high profile assignments.
Operates with a clear general management mindset.
Communicates clearly, effectively, and persuasively in a professional team-oriented environment.
Exceptional Presentation Skills.
Able to move effortlessly between strategy and tactics.

Strong Sales organizational and management skills.
Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
Ability to travel for business as needed.
