Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst and Project Manager (1st Shift ) (Level 4) to join the Regulatory and Quality Systems Oversight (RQSO) Team in North Charleston SC, Seattle WA or Washington DC.
Within RQSO, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Liaison Team acts as the primary interface for collaboration between Boeing and the FAA. This team supports on-going oversight and maintenance of Production Certificate 700 approval (what authorizes Boeing to deliver airplanes) and the resolution of regulatory compliance concerns (what allows Boeing to continue to deliver airplanes.)
As a Business Intelligence Analyst and Project Manager in the FAA Liaison Team, you will be front and center of a high functioning team that desires to better utilize its data and system architecture to make improved business decisions. This role will integrate into a Business Intelligence Community of Practice with other data analysts across RQSO to standardize and optimize reporting capabilities.
This role will directly report to Senior Management in RQSO, which is centralized between Seattle, WA and North Charleston, SC. The job offers multiple locations at Boeing’s major hubs but operates in a hybrid work environment. Candidate must be able to excel working in a virtual environment by being proficient with collaboration tools. Time on-site is driven by business need and candidate must be able to support approximately 15% travel.
Primary Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence Analyst
Data collection, aggregation, and analysis coming from across multiple teams, systems, and formats. High aptitude in organization skills.
Willingness and ability to scrutinize and evaluate data integrity and ensure the highest quality of data analysis.
Comfort and aptitude in engagement and collaboration with regulatory stakeholders.
Expected to assign deadlines for data delivery as well as to collaborate back to data owners as the information flows up to the RQSO Leadership Team.
Project Management
Leads definition and execution of complex projects and program management activities.Implements and maintains established processes for executing projects.
Develops project architecture, organizational work structures and execution plans.
Prevents and resolves complex problems.
Designs and streamlines models and processes.
Selects, evaluates and applies company standards, policies and procedures.
Partners in the development of business unit strategy and achievement of organizational goals.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years of experience performing statistical analysis
3+ years of experience building intuitive and useful data visualizations that drive business decisions
3+ years of experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
1+ years of experience building intuitive and actionable Tableau dashboards and data visualizations that drive business decisions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in database management, programming, predictive modeling, statistical modeling and/or machine learning (SQL, R, Python, JMP, Tableau, etc.)
Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries and delivering an integrated final product
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range:
North Charleston, SC: $100,300 - $135,700
Everett, WA: $107,100 - $144,900
Washington DC: $107,100 - $ $144,900
