What you'll do
You will report to the Senior Manager of Service Management as a linkbetween the customer and project director, the Business Consultant Seniorcontributes to the building of trusted and valuable partnerships with ourcustomers.Apply business acumen, technical, and declarative skills to quicklyassess, diagnose, and design digital monetization solutions that solve ourcustomer's toughest business challenges.Lead customers through the discovery process to understand their pain pointsand define business configuration to deliver client requirements.Document user-centered requirements relevant to achieving the customer'sgoals and objectives.Provide sound consulting guidance related to best practices, adoption,platform development, and leveraging 3rd parties to streamline current andfuture business processes.Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional teams.Construct workflow diagrams and charts.Guides the customer thorough delineation of personal preferences or othernon-essential modifications and core business needs.Translates business requirements to technical requirements while balancingthem between what's technically feasible and financially and functionallyreasonable.Identify customer requests or questions that are not addressed by the SaaSsolution and provide appropriate responses, guiding back to OOTB capabilities.Facilitate and guide customer workshops while managing to the contractedservice definition.Present and propose business solutions that match out currentproduct/solution capabilities.Lead the customer through the enhancement intake and delivery process.Collaborates with the project solution architect to create the BlueprintDocument as part of the customer's initial onboarding process.Manage any changes through the Service or Change request process.May coordinate and facilitate UAT and end-to-end testing.Assist in the definition of user stories and acceptance criteria for eachfunctional business requirement.Provide system validation procedures, maintenance reports, deactivationplans, and other documents, plans and reports.Is knowledgeable on use cases and continually verify the requirements andreject implementations that do not advance the business goals and objectives.This job requires domestic and/or international travel up to 20%.You should have

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology,Engineering (Electrical Software, Telecommunications) or Business(with major in Computing) or equivalent education/experience required.Proficiency in English in a business environmentMinimum 7 years of experience as a business/software consultant in thetelecommunications or other relevant industry.US Federal Government experience preferredSingleview experience is preferred.Cross Industry Experience: Experience in business consulting with multipleclients in telecoms (fixed and mobile), cable and media industrydelivering software solutions for Business Support Systems.Industry Leadership: Deep Knowledge of industry trends from marketing tocommercial and operations that are being adopted to drive new ways of cliente gagement and revenue models.Understanding of the drivers of change affecting these industries incompeting for similar customer sets. Ability to work at C-Level withcommercial, operational and Information Systems areas to be seen as athought leader in driving new operating modes and solutions.Expert understanding of an integrated BSS solution demonstrating strongknowledge of and experience with several products within the portfolio.Business Consulting: Consulting with clients to draw out needs associatedwith company strategy and recommend solutions. Ability to challenge approachesthrough thought-leadership to draw out best solutions and add value inproposing alternative methods to achieving company goals.Experience of working with clients in major business transformationprogrammes.Strong experience in consultative engagements such as business healthchecks, business motivation modeling, TCO/ROI assessments, prospectresearch, customer business processes (i.e. journeys). Ability to leadand document associated workshops.Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively convey and clarifycomplex information, delivering demonstrations and presentations,consulting with customers and influencing others.Highly developed facilitation skills for customer interaction.Solid understanding of project management and requirements managementprocesses to ensure primary responsibilities are completed within acceptedstandards and templates.Available for international and domestic travel when needed. Travel,after/off hours and extended on-site work will be required.
