Job Overview
TE Connectivity's IT Business Analysis Teams analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. They provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. They also configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing, create specifications for systems to meet business requirements and design details of automated systems. At times, TE's IT Business Analysis Teams may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
The senior business analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and managing reports on supply chain analytics data. He or she will work closely with the analytics team to understand the requirements from stakeholders and provide detailed insights.
This position will conduct analysis and generating business insights of supply chain performance for the business unit.
This position will also be responsible for conducting regularly scheduled and ad hoc analyses that dive deep into the data to uncover the hidden insights and recommendations that will help TE go beyond explaining what happened, but rather inform us what we should do next.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as a point-person for stakeholders as the primary source of information relating to operationsWork with stakeholders to understand business objectives, define key performance indicators based on those objectives, and provide relevant data, including analysis and insights.Regularly assemble data from various disparate sources (from SAP, multiple analytics suites, platform portals, etc.) into consolidated reports.Help the analytics team design & deliver regular scheduled and ad hoc reports on the performance of business unit supply chain to help stakeholders determine what is working well and what areas need improvement.Effectively communicate and 'translate' quantitative findings (storytelling with data), inclusive of key insights and actionable recommendations to optimize performanceIdentify gaps in the overall data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancementsWork simultaneously on multiple projects in support of multiple business units / regionsCommunicate best practices within group and work to improve department productivityCross-train, collaborate and serve as backup for other team members within the Analytics Team
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience6+ years as a business analyst/data analyst (or similar role)Proven experience in analyzing supply chain dataProficient in Excel and SAPExperience in other digital/website analytics tools, AB testing platforms, SalesForce.com is an added advantageExperience with Tableau, SQL is a plusAbility to influence internal business partners with whom no direct reporting relationship existsExcellent relationship management, presentation and communications skills that establish trust, credibility and respect
