NTT DATA Services currently seeks an Sr Business Analyst to join our team working on a temp basis with our customer in Cary, NC / Remote.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Senior Business Analyst in the Project Management Office, you are responsible for the scoping, planning and execution of strategic initiatives that are the direct result of company strategy. Project types range from development of new service offerings to business transformation to the design and implementation of technology solutions. As a senior contributor, assigned projects will involve large scale organizational change, or a portfolio of several smaller initiatives with more focused impact.
In this role, you will work cross functionally across business and technology leaders who are focused on the dynamic needs of the local health care markets, while contributing to a project team focused on a common goal.
Essential Functions
The main responsibilities in this position will be to:
Elicit business priorities, processes, and requirements from Business Owners and stakeholdersProvide documentation and translation of business cases, business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications to technical and delivery teamsWork with the business and testing teams to validate functionality and usability of business processes and applications.Identify strategies for meeting business needs while ensuring effective and efficient use of IT resources.May also contribute to development of user manuals, training materials, and development of service level agreements.In addition to project work, the Business Analyst will also contribute to continuously improving the Project Management Office framework, working across leadership in IT, Analytics, and the Project Management Office.
In order to fulfill these essential functions, the Business Analyst will be expected work in the context of a project centric environment (both agile & waterfall), understand issues of data integrity and data relationships, be familiar with healthcare population management and analytics, as well as physician and hospital practices/workflow. The employee must be able to work independently while being accountable to a team of clinical, technical, and project management experts.

Education and ExperienceMinimum of a four-year degree in business, computer science, or healthcare related field required6+ years of business analysis experience requiredHealthcare experience preferredBABOK or Lean Six Sigma certification preferredDemonstrated success leading technical projects with matrixed project teamsExperience in delivering projects across multiple SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc)
Working Conditions This job is virtual (contractor can be located anywhere within the continental US) but the candidate will be required to work during US EST times with meetings starting as early as 8AM EST in some cases.Responsibilities may require working evenings and weekends with little advanced notice.
*** All new hires will be required to successfully complete our training course and demonstrate proficiency of the material.Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM. The shift schedule can be changed as per client's requirements. Additionally, employees may have to work overtime based on client's requirement. (Onshore)Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The pay rate for this role is $38.00-60.00/hour. This pay rate reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
