Our Regulatory Reporting Product team is seeking a passionate Agile Business Analyst to join our team to support the definition and delivery of digital solutions. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are seeking to meaningfully empower our business and compliance partners with core data management technology solutions. In this role you will be responsible for working with an agile squad and serve as a primary contact with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to build business relationships, gather requirements, analyze data, and translating regulatory requirements into deliverable outcomes. You will also strengthen our channels of communication and uphold our principles of transparency and partnership while engaging with product peers, data analysts, program leaders and engineering partners to drive successful product execution. Support business requirement activities by providing end-to-end analysis for products and initiatives with respect to requirements, user journeys and user interface designs for shared services leveraged by all businesses across Moody's Investors Service.
Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for regulatory reporting productsEstablish collaborative relationships with key business partners and squad membersAuthor thorough and detailed documentation of all aspects of the systems in question, including business requirements, non-functional requirements, use cases, and business system concept documents in the form of mature user stories and acceptance criteriaIndependently own and follow up on projects which may include analysis of large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insightsSupport the maintenance and monitoring of the product roadmap and backlogProactively escalate risks and propose solutionsServe as product analyst for scrum teams including sizing, team capacity, daily scrums, regular reporting on status and escalation as neededWork to remove roadblocks and ensure dependencies are in view and managedEnable delivery by overseeing user acceptance testing and demos to ensure that the service and product meets the business needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; IT or related technical field is preferredMinimum of 5 years of relevant experienceExperience working with credit rating data or regulatory reporting is a plusStrong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to translate business data analysis into actionable tasksStrong experience in design thinking and agile product development requiredExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to resolve complex analytical and technical issuesAble to author high-quality documentation, including user stories and test cases.Experience independently managing requirements and demonstrate a results-driven approach to supporting clients across multiple businesses and locationsMust possess a strong initiative and a get-it-done attitudeExperience in Agile development framework and JIRAProficiency in Excel, Visio or Lucid is required, experience with Miro is a plusKnowledge of SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$113,100]] to [[$163,950]] , depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
