Job Description
Drive development of appropriate study protocols, research design and statisitcal analyses, consult with investigators to determine questions of interest and data necessary to answer questions.Drive thought leadership for Cerner's key secondary data offerings by creating and publishing health outcomes studies using the data.Train client-facing research and biostats teams on each of the datasets discussed above. This training will be at the highly technical level.Keep up to date on innovative statistical techniques for Real-World Data or in general that might be applicable to Cerner's capabilities.Propose new uses for existing data sets or sources, algorithms and predictive models

Qualifications
Basic QualificationsAt least 10 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:At least 3 years licensed health care practice, clinical research, epidemiology and/or biostatistics work experienceAt least 7 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher educationHigh School DiplomaPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experienceExpectationsPerform other responsibilities as assignedWilling to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulationsWork in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
