Overview
The Global Benefits Offerings team enables Intuit's global workforce to effectively engage with a diverse portfolio of health, wellness, and financial benefits programs designed to support their overall well-being. To further help deliver on this mission, we're seeking an experienced global benefits program analyst to lead the design, building, and ongoing management of the benefit program analytics function for our growing global team. The role will be responsible for providing meaningful insights and actionable information to evaluate benefit program utilization, understand trends and identify opportunities - all to inform and manage benefit strategy and drive employee engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the global benefit program analytics function that impacts benefit program offerings, plan design, and program changes in 7 countries globally. In this role, you'll collaborate with multiple program managers, consultants, and third-party vendors to use program utilization metrics, benchmarking tools, and vendor performance analytics to create a structured vision and deliver results for how to improve and inform decision making on current and future benefit program design. This entails deeply understanding our diverse employee benefit program offering and the various data and inputs that drive benefit program design and ongoing program management - including applying these insights to enhance current benefit program platforms to reinforce our goal of being a benefits leader in our industry.
As a member of our People and Places team and as a Senior Benefits Program Analyst, reporting into the Director, Global Benefits, you will support the strategic planning and design of our global benefits offerings. You will play an integral part in driving Intuit's benefits priorities forward while influencing the adoption and evolution of our benefits offerings, storytelling, and external benchmarking capabilities.
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong mix of benefit program management and subject matter expertise (SME), business and data analysis expertise, critical thinking capabilities, project management skills, and a strong communication skillset. This role is an ideal opportunity for a creative, curious, self-starter who has a passion for using benefit program data to understand drivers of a global benefits program offering - within a multi-stakeholder environment - to assist Global Benefits leadership on how best to use program metrics to tell the end-to-end "benefits story" and convert data and analysis to strategic benefit plan insight and action, while also improving the employee experience.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in relevant field (i.e., Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial / Organizational Psychology, Data Science/Analytics, Health Program Statistics, Industrial Engineering); master's degree preferredAt least 8-10+ years medium-to-large employer experience (10,000+ employees) working in benefit program design or benefit program operations management and/or in the area of healthcare benefit program data analytics and visualizationExcellent written communication, presentation, and project management skills, with a proven ability to design workable solutions, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and drive projects to successful implementation.Strong data analysis, problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical and organizational skills.Ability to work with autonomy through ambiguous circumstances in a matrixed, multi-stakeholder organizationStrong business judgment and bias for action, practical, and common-sense approach to properly use and apply data to "tell the story", get things done, and deliver high quality and impactful results.
How you will lead
Enable effective, data-driven decision making for future benefit program offering plan design by aggregating and analyzing sophisticated benefit program and industry benchmarking data across multiple disparate data sources and present insights/findings in a comprehensive, solution-oriented, and practical formatUse previous program leadership and vendor management experience to gather insights on vendor partner performance using industry benchmarks and return on investment methodologies to deliver data-driven recommendations to inform senior leadership decision makingOngoing management of key health and welfare programs to provide analysis, insights, and consultative support to senior business leaders in a cross-functional capacity to support the company's annual budget cycleWork with our global consulting partners to develop and analyze key metrics to gauge the success of all company health, welfare, and wellbeing (financial, physical, and emotional) offeringsDevelop and lead future benefit program analytics projects, and perform post-mortem analysis on key initiatives, to support the team's ongoing efforts to continue to iterate and improve company's benefit offering and drive employee engagement with numerous health and welfare benefit initiativesAnalyze benefit program operational data (e.g., utilization data, claim incidence, program spending, voice of employee feedback, etc.) and present findings and recommendations on where benefit program effectiveness can be improvedOversee and maintain team's benefit program data warehouse (including standardized and custom/ad-hoc reporting packages) as well as lead the management of the team's benefits data warehouse vendor partner and their provider activitiesPrepare statistical summaries and special reports on benefit programs, associated benchmarking, and lead analysis of performance of firm's 70+ vendor partner portfolio
