CSC is currently looking for an Audio-Visual Engineer. If you like to work on a team that designs solutions, implements the design, and supports the solution, this job is for you!! We are looking for someone to support our fast-growing video conferencing environment. This is an opportunity to be involved in all aspects of design and support, and not be limited to just one component. As part of the CSC Unified Communications Team, you will help develop what is needed to ensure a successful video conference room deployment through cross training, knowledge sharing, documentation, and day-to-day interaction. We are looking for an individual who wants to contribute to a variety of work and projects, be a team player, and has a passion for continually acquiring new skills.
This role will allow you to work with business users to gather requirements and then translate those requirements into a solution that you will get to implement.

Microsoft Teams Room deployment Poly Collaboration Video Interop (CVI) support Office moves Office Integrations Remote site support and troubleshooting Hardware life cycle support Video Collaboration What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need?
Manage the functionality and efficiency of Audio/Visual systems supporting major conference events Ability to lead A/V technical discussions with leadership Define functional requirements for A/V Integrator Support the on-site installation efforts of the A/V Integrator and ET A/V technician Manage Technical relationship with A/V Integrator Troubleshoot and debug A/V systems Review and comment on viability of design as required Develop, organize, and maintain standard operational procedures and workflow procedures for A/V systems Create documentation for testing and validation of A/V systems Validate and interpret BOM (Bill of Materials) ensuring design conforms with customer needs and there are no compatibility issues or end-of-life products Confirm final AV system meet customer requirements and functionality per scope of work Familiarity in design documentation such as rack elevations, mounting details, viewing angles, and CAD line drawings Capable of translating business requirements into technical solutions QOS knowledge Experience planning, documenting, and implementing small to medium sized projects with multiple dependencies Ability to work as part of team during planning, coordinating and installation of services Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to thrive in a complex environment with the desire and ability to grow professionally Impeccable integrity Ability to travel up to 10% of time Basic Crestron programming and/or troubleshooting is preferred Industry Specific certifications (Crestron, Polycom, Microsoft, etc.) preferred Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms strongly preferred Experience with Cisco Audio/Visual environments a preferred Experience with Poly video conferencing environment a plus
