What you will do day-to-day with your colleagues:We enable Maxar infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain compliant systemsusing standards and configuration state management tools specifically curatedto suit their compliance requirements. We continuously monitor operationalsystem performance and usage, and continuously refine our tools to reducecomplexity, increase reliability, and match timeliness with efficient costs.
In this role you will be responsible for writing playbooks and modules toimplement hardening controls and manage configuration tools in a variety ofenvironments at different accreditation levels. You will also play a centralrole in upgrading, supporting, and optimizing those tools to create ahighly available, resilient, and self-healing environment. You willtroubleshoot and resolve issues with the automation tools and theirimplementation, recommending and implementing changes to enhance,stabilize, and secure their ongoing operation.
Minimum Requirements:Must be a U.S. CitizenMust be able and willing to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearanceAt least two years of software development or infrastructure engineeringexperienceBachelor's degree in a related field or two additional years of experiencemay be substituted for a degreeAbility to be on call on a rotating basisPreviously demonstrated experience in Linux system admin experienceExperience using and/or administrating a variety of open-source technologiesKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)Familiarity with one of all of the following Bash/Python/Perl/RubyAnsible Tower or AWX writing Ansible playbooks and rolesSatellite and PuppetWindows system admin experience
Preferred Qualifications:Active U.S. security clearancePowerShell trainingSCCMGroup policyImaging baselinesOS RepositoriesExperience implementing compliance standards (eg STIG, CIS, NIST 800-171)Cloud environment experience (AWS, Azure, GCP or other)Experience using Ansible, Satellite, Ubuntu Landscape or equivalenttechnologies.CI/CD experience would be preferable.Git experienceAgile development experience

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility.Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set ofknowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potentialcommensurate with experience. The range for this position is:$102,000.00- $170,000.00 annually.
Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based oncontribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved;the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on therole and breadth of contributions.
