Position Overview
@Autodesk is seeking an experienced insights professional to join our Audience Insights team in the Worldwide Marketing Organization. As a Senior Audience Insights Manager, you will craft and implement a variety of research and strategy projects that influence both short-term and long-term business decisions. You will partner with go-to-market stakeholders to grasp their core challenges, form hypotheses, and translate them into research and analysis requirements.
You will have a demonstrated experience with understanding and implementing research, along with a strong grasp of B2B customer behavior and preferences. This knowledge will be applied to generate insights and provide business recommendations. We are seeking someone who has natural curiosity in understanding customer needs and behavior; you will provide meaning behind the data; and believe in the power of storytelling to develop actionable insights and business strategy.
You will report directly to the Head of the Audience Insights team.
We endorse a hybrid work model, and it is expected that you will work from the Barcelona office at least once a week.
Responsibilities:
You will incorporate and process data from multiple studies, including market research data, strategy narratives, customer transaction history, and visitor website activity, to create coherent and compelling storiesYou will independently manage and execute research to generate insights and guidance for our different audiencesYou will manage both qualitative and quantitative research projects using methodologies including focus groups, interviews, and surveys that yield data required for developing insights to measure customer perceptions and satisfactionYou will mentor colleagues and other team members from diverse backgrounds within the organization in the use of research techniques and methodologiesYou will articulate Autodesk's needs and help push hypotheses generation with core partnersYou will solve complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors by taking a broad perspective to identify the best approach and solutionsYou will demonstrate flexibility to quickly respond to ad hoc analytic or research requests common in this dynamic environmentYou will develop and deliver visually impactful reports and presentations, highlighting main insights and conveying the strategic customer storyYou will develop relationships with external research partners and vendors to stay abreast of new research and insights techniques and methodologies
Minimum Qualifications:
8 to 12 years of professional experience, with domain depth in market research, insights, and ideally also in analyticsAgency or market research experience in a client-facing role, ideally within B2BIn-depth hands-on knowledge of market research techniques (focus groups, interviews, community forums, online surveys, etc.), survey design, sampling plans and analysis, discussion guide creation, qual and quant research data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence platformsExperience working with data; you will work through multiple data points and bring the results to life in an easy-to-digest storyExperienced in creating visualizations and storytelling from dataStrong communication skills, able to adapt communication style to persuade stakeholders across the businessExperience with graphic design and creative storytelling, examples of clear presentationsTrack record of accountability, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projectsAbility to travel 10%, including internationallyA passion for data and analysis, with a curiosity to get to the root of a problem and solve itFamiliarity with the architecture, construction, design and manufacturing, and/or media and entertainment industries preferredMBA, advanced degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Business Administration or a relevant Marketing field
