What You Will Achieve
You will help Pfizer build its information technology solutions. You will leverage your technical skills to design, develop and implement IT solutions which satisfy the short term or long terms needs of Pfizer. You will work on systems architecture, network systems and application infrastructure to deliver results.
The Sr Associate, Platform Engineer plays a key role in delivering the future of advanced patient focused Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions leveraging the Force.com platform. The colleague will be responsible for participating in programming activities, monitoring platform health & security, and designing new solutions and features on the Force.com platform. This position will perform that function in partnership and collaboration with Client Partner leaders, other Pfizer Digital service providers, and business team members stakeholders.
How You Will Achieve It
Modifying software to fix errors, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.Executing and directing system testing and validation procedures.Executing and directing software programming and documentation development.Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals.Working with business users or departments on technical issues including software system design.Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree.3+ years of experience with an emphasis on solutions and application development.Understanding of web technologies and services such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Restful APIs.Knowledge of the software development life-cycle.Strong critical thinking and problem solving skillsThe desire to work in fast-paced environment.Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.Experience working on a variety of software development projects.Deep programming language knowledge.Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with Salesforce.com platform concepts, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LwC) and Apex programming language preferred, but not required.Experience with DevOps and automated testing tools such as Github, Jira, Selenium.Salesforce certifications a bonus but not a requirements.
